Profile of the graduate

Graduate has the knowledge and skills in the field of food technology and human nutrition, and engineering sciences and economics. He is a specialist in the processing, preservation, storage and quality control of food and ensure its safety. He is prepared to work on engineering positions in the food industry enterprises in establishments engaged in the acquisition, storage and distribution of food and human nutrition, as well as in vocational education (in addition to the appropriate pedagogical education). He knows how to organize production, including the selection of machinery and equipment and to carry out its economic calculation. He knows the principles of marketing, food law and the principles of proper human nutrition. He knows how to use computer technology in the management of technological processes. Graduate has instilled habits of lifelong learning, knows foreign language, and uses specialist language in the field of field of study. He is prepared to take the second degree studies.

Graduate has in-depth knowledge and skills in the field of food technology and human nutrition. He is a specialist in the processing, preservation, storage and quality control of food and ensure its safety. He is prepared to work on the engineering and managerial positions in the food industry enterprises in establishments engaged in the acquisition, storage and distribution of food and human nutrition, as well as in vocational education (in addition to proper pedagogical education). He can arrange production including the selection of machines and equipment. He knows the principles of marketing, food law and the proper human nutrition. He can use computer technology in the management of technological processes. Graduate has instilled habits of lifelong learning, knows a foreign language and properly uses specialist language in the field of field of study. He is prepared to conduct research and to study the third degree.

Graduate has knowledge of human healthy nutrition or afflicted with chronic non-communicable diseases. Demonstrates the ability to plan rational nutrition of different population groups, designing and preparation of dishes included in individual diets, assessment of nutrition and nutritional status. In addition, a knowledge of preventive treatment, allowing the organization of individual and collective nutrition, adapted according to the age and health, and also knows how to conduct nutrition education. Graduate also has expertise in the field of food quality and safety. He is prepared to work in the catering establishments, public and private health care facilities, factories producing food for hospitals and other catering units, centers treating nutritionally-dependent diseases, sports facilities and vocational training (in addition to proper pedagogical education) . Graduate has instilled habits of lifelong learning, can handle a variety of computer programs, know a foreign language, and uses specialist language in the field of field of study. He is prepared to take the second degree studies.
